Quintessence volunteering is a fun and exciting way to get involved with our theater company. As the theater’s artistic programming has grown, so has the need for year-round volunteer involvement to help support and implement these programs. We truly appreciate the work that our volunteers do and could not celebrate our many great successes without also celebrating our many great volunteers.
Volunteer opportunities at Quintessence include: ushering, distributing marketing materials, preparing mailings, database management, building/striking sets, sewing costumes and other opportunities that arise on an as needed basis.
Ushers receive a complimentary ticket to the show they’re volunteering at, as well as a free concessions item (excluding alcohol.) Complimentary tickets are available for other volunteering.

Quintessence Volunteer Standards
Volunteers are expected to exhibit professional work habits including but not limited to being on time, following Quintessence workplace policies, arriving prepared for shifts, being responsive and following through on supervisor requests. Volunteers are expected to be flexible and responsive to changes in the scope of their duties. Volunteers should exhibit a positive attitude in relation with patrons, fellow volunteers and staff.
Quintessence Volunteer Requirements
Volunteers must have a valid e-mail address.
Volunteers must be at least 15 years of age.
We have one-time and ongoing volunteer opportunities.
