Re-Imagining the Classics: An Exploration of Modern Storytelling with Christina Healey

"Re-Imagining the Classics” will allow aspiring and experienced writers alike to use classic texts to inspire and inform their own narratives. Through shared brainstorming, writing labs, and guided feedback sessions, these writers will do what Quintessence does best: “re-envision the classics to inspire our community to consider what is essential in theatre and in human nature”. 

Christina Healey is a current Teaching Artist with QTG and the Artistic Director of Studio 324 Productions, a South Jersey theater company. She holds a B.F.A. in Acting and a Master's in Higher Education. Christina’s company focuses on the development of new works by emerging writers, and has successfully developed plays that have gone on to perform in festivals and full productions, including at the Philadelphia Fringe Festival and the Gene Frankel Festival in Manhattan. She is a produced playwright and musician, with her original works A Latte of Love and String Theory (upcoming) both having debuted in Philadelphia.
